Women+ up to 48 fencers
Basic up to 144 fencers
Advance up to 48 fencers with €3,000 cash prize pool
Requirements
Basic: Don't have medal in Basic or Open Longsword with 40+ participants in the last 3 years.
Advanced: Won medal in Basic or Open Longsword with 40+ participants in the last 3 years.
BOHEMA RULES
The event will be conducted in the spirit and traditions of the Nordic scene. Please expect high-quality strike requirements, afterblows, ring outs, wrestling (without throws), and other amenities.

Yeah, a bit pricey
But all staff will be paid, judges' flights compensated, the arena is epic and amenities are present.

BOHEMA
Stands for Brutally Oppressive Historical European Martial Arts.
BOHEMA is epic longsword international tournament in Czech Republic for beginner, regular and advanced HEMA fencers.

The tournament
27-28th of September
Seeding pool (5 fights)
Elimination pool (5 more fights)
The top 2 fencers from each pool advance to the knockout stage (1–4 fights), leading to our beloved grand finale, a pool of 4 as the cherry on top.
That means 10 guaranteed fights, with up to 18 if you’re cool enough.
Unlimited sparrings on both days of the event. You will have some of the best judging possible with all instructors judging the fights.

Help with equipment
If, as sometimes happens with beginners, you lack any equipment, we will provide it.
All swords will be provided by Kvetun Armoury. The entire tournament will be fought with Easton Longswords.

Epic locations
We have booked the modern, stellar, slick, and comfortable Sportovní centrum Řepy for the event. A cafe serving fresh meals and a hotel with a sauna and swimming pools will be at your service.
Accommodation is available right next to the tournament hall, just a 1-minute lazy walk from your bed.
